• The Star of Essex Award, a lifetime achievement award dedicated to an individual who has selflessly committed decades of their life to a specific cause or charity within Essex, without payment.
• The Child of Courage Award, awarded to exceptional, inspirational children who manage to achieve, often against diversity. Given for courage, determination and a positive disposition to serving, Essex-based children under 16 years old.
• The Team of Pride Award, awarded to teams of people who make a difference to other people’s lives and putting others needs before their own. This can include creating clubs, meetings or fundraising.
• The Community Champion Award, awarded to individuals or groups who put the needs of others before themselves, raising funds for charity. Recognising the difference they make to the community as a whole.
• The Unsung Hero Award, awarded to exceptional care in the community. Recognising individuals, often key workers, who make a real difference by putting others’ needs before their own, either in a neighbourly or professional capacity.
• The Inspirational Youth Award, awarded to inspirational young people in the community who make a difference to other people’s lives and putting other people’s physical needs before their own.
• The Judges' Choice Award, the latest addition to our awards lineup, will from 2025 be awarded to an outstanding individual or group in the community.
